Unternehmen Medi-Gobe CardioPlast

More than 30 years of experience and compentence in manufacturing of injection moulding component

Medi-Globe CardioPlast GmbH’s history in medical technology is going back to the 50ies. Since mid of the 70ies the history is connected with the production of injection moulded components for cardiology and heart surgery at the Ludwigsstadt site in Bavaria / Germany.

1980

Medi-Globe CardioPlast operated under the name of Stöckert Instrumente GmbH (Stöckert Instrumente GmbH was amongst others a division of Pfizer/Shiley, Fiat and latest Sorin Group Deutschland GmbH).

Since beginning of the 80ies Medi-Globe CardioPlast GmbH manufactured mainly implantable pacemaker electrode components.

In the 80 ies Medi-Globe CardioPlast GmbH manufactured spinal cord stimulator leads in cooperation with the University of Berlin as well as dilation catheters for silicone balloons for vascular applications which were later marketed by Cook Medicals.

Moreover from this period of time until today plastic components for heart-lung machines and components for vascular surgery procedures were manufactured under national and European legal requirements as well as those of the US FDA.

2002

Reinraum MitarbeiterRelocation to the surrounding Sonneberg/Thuringia caused by the increase of manufacturing capacity and the modernisation of the cleanroom technology – since this time we provide on a 5.000 m2 ground approx. 800 m2 production area (injection moulding and mould making) and approx. 250m2 administration.

2006

Firmengebaeude Medi-Globe CardioPlastThe Sonneberg site is an independent business unit of the Medi-Globe group and manufactures for third parties and for the own group medtec components from thermoplastics and liquid silicone.

2010

Firmengebaeude Medi-Globe CardioPlast NeuhausIn consequence of merging two manufacturing units of the Medi-Globe group (Injection molding and Wound Care) was the move to the near by Neuhaus-Schierschnitz / Thuringia. High-Tech production site of nearly 2000 sqm and a large ISO class 7 environmental controlled clean room with over 200 sqm. The growing demand of products in the medical technical field require additional investments in machines and equipment.
