For Each Requirement the Suitable Process

For design evaluation processes we provide two different options:

Stereo-Lithographie

Rapid Prototyping Medi-Globe CardioPlastA plastic material that becomes hard under light exposure (photopolymer), epoxy, is hardened in thin layers by means of a laser. The procedur is done in a tub which is filled by a base monomer of the light sensitive (photosensitive) plastic material. After each step the work piece will be layered in the liquid and driven into a position which is lower in comparison to the previous layer. The liquid plastic material will be evened with a wiper. Than a laser - which is controlled by a moveable mirror - moves over the new layer that needs to be hardened. After hardening the next step will follow. Thus a three dimensional model is created that might be used within a short period of time for the R&D or the product management.

The manufacturing process is done in the same way as the injection moulds made out of special tool steel. However the treatment cost and the material cost is lower as well as the manufacturing time.
